Wild strawberries and plum lead on the nose followed by cherry wood and savory meat. The palate is medium bodied with red and purple fruit and balanced tannins. Red cherry highlights the mid-palate, followed by subtle dry toasted oak notes and herbal character, with a smooth and lingering finish.
Winemaker Notes
Destemmed gently and dropped into 1.5 ton stainless steel bins, cold soaked 72 hours, inoculated with a variety of yeasts, hand punched 3 times daily and pressed directly to barrel where the wine finished both primary and secondary fermentations.
